Aamal Company Q.P.S.C., in partnership with Qatar Cyclists, is hosting the second edition of the Aamal Ride on April 25, 2025. This exciting event celebrates the spirit of community and the benefits of an active lifestyle, promoting both mental and physical well-being.
Starting from the Old Doha Port, participants will enjoy a scenic journey through some of Qatar's most picturesque locations. The route extends along the beautiful Corniche, passes by the City Center Mall to the Pearl Island till the end of Viva Bahriya, and winds around the stunning Gewan Island before returning to the starting point.
The Aamal Ride is open to everyone, offering a unique opportunity for both novice and seasoned cyclists. Participants can choose from two routes: a long 45km course (Adults 16+) designed for all skill levels and a shorter 5km route within the Old Doha Port, specially mapped for children(8+), juniors and families.
This multi-distance event is not just about personal achievement but also about giving back. All proceeds from the Aamal Ride will be donated to a cause, supporting our commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
The event will also have a fan zone with various activities for those who will come to support their friends and family and join the atmosphere of the wheels festival in Qatar. Even if you don’t want to join the ride you can still enjoy the event.
The total capacity of the ride will be 800 cyclists. Each participant will receive a race pack, which will include branded jersey, medal and other gifts.
All participants will have a chance to participate in a raffle draw with gifts from the organizers.

Ride Safely
- NO Helmet, NO Ride, NO TT Bikes permitted
- Technical and medical support available during the event
- Please follow the route at all times.
- Do not leave the route and always ride in the direction of travel.
- Only cycle on the road (not sidewalks or grass areas).
- Do not make any unnecessary stops on the route.
- The route will not be completely closed for general traffic, but there will be Police and Traffic assistance with support vehicles on route for the Aamal Ride, please be careful when crossing intersection and look out for event vehicles that may be on route for safety or other reasons, as well as pedestrians that may be attempting to cross the route.
- Keep a safe distance from other riders on the route.
- Please be patient with other riders. The roads may be crowded, especially at the start.
- Be conscious of other riders and communicate your actions so they are aware if you are slowing, stopping, pulling-out to pass, overtaking or pulling-in having completed an overtake.
- Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers
- Participants who do not wish to have their photos or videos published should inform the organizers in advance.
Accept Waiver
- I acknowledge that this is a cycling event which is a test of physical and mental capabilities and carries the potential for death or serious injury. These risks include, but are not limited to those resulting from terrain, weather and temperature, hydration state, your fitness and state of health, equipment failures, vehicular traffic, actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, and members of the general public.
- I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in the event. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in the event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
- I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the event
- I realize that liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the organisers , property owners, Qatar Cyclists Center under the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and all other sponsors or entities which may participate or be involved in race organisation and promotion. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability form will be used by any or all of these entities and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at the event.
- I hereby waive these liabilities and take this action for myself, my executors, heirs, next of kin, successors as follows: (A) Waive, Release and Discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me including my traveling to and from this event, the following entities or persons: Their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, the event holders, event sponsors, event volunteers. (B) Indemnify and hold harmless the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
- I understand that I may be photographed during the event or related activities. I agree to all my photo, video or film, likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the organiser and Qatar Cyclists and Aamal Group and all other partners.
- If i do not wish to have my photos or videos published I will inform the organizers in advance.
- I hereby certify that I have read this document and I understand its content. I understand that any false information supplied may result in disqualification from this event and possible suspension
