Smart Nutrition for Horses Workshop

Smart Nutrition for Horses Workshop, hosted by EVMC at Al Shaqab, takes place 23 September 2026, 3:30–7:00 PM, at the Longines Arena, Al Shaqab. Open to horse owners, vets, trainers, riders, and enthusiasts, the seminar covers competition nutrition, gastric ulcer prevention, and feeding the metabolic horse, followed by a hands-on practical workshop with feeds, hays, and equipment demos.

Workshop Topics:

• Nutrition design in competing horses. Dr Ben (20 min)
• Gastric ulcer prevention and management. 
• Feeding the metabolic horse (muscle diseases and hormonal problems). Dr Matthew (20 min)
• Practical workshop – all clinicians, 40 minutes (showing examples of feeds, hays, gastroscope equipment, supplements).
