Led by Grammy-nominated conductor Alastair Willis, the programme features Ascending Bird, a stunning collaboration by Colin Jacobsen and Siamak Aghaei, and Camille Saint-Saëns’ vibrant Piano Concerto No. 5 (Egyptian), performed by the acclaimed pianist Lindsay Garritson. The concert concludes with Malek Jandali’s powerful Syrian Symphony, a heartfelt tribute to culture and resilience.
Concert Attendance Guidelines
Ticketing and Admission:
- All tickets must be purchased online in advance.
- No refunds or exchanges are permitted.
- Children under 6 years of age are not admitted to the venue.
- Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Venue Protocol:
- QPO representatives will guide patrons to their designated seats.
- We kindly request that all mobile devices be silenced.
- Flash photography and video recording are strictly prohibited.
- Late arrivals will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance.
- Re-entry during the concert is limited to seats near the exit.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the concert hall (water excepted).
Patron Conduct:
- The Philharmonic reserves the right to remove any individual disrupting the performance or other patrons.
