Join the Qatar Philharmonic
Orchestra for an evening of extraordinary music at the Katara Opera House.
Under the baton of Michalis Economou, the programme features a captivating
selection of orchestral masterpieces. The concert opens with Giuseppe Verdi’s
dramatic Overture to La Forza del Destino, followed by Max Bruch’s
lyrical and passionate Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26,
performed by renowned violinist Anastasiya Petryshak. The evening concludes
with Dmitri Shostakovich’s powerful Symphony No. 10 in E minor, Op. 93.
Concert Attendance Guidelines
Ticketing and Admission:
- All tickets must be purchased online in advance.
- No refunds or exchanges are permitted.
- Children under 6 years of age are not admitted to the venue.
- Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Venue Protocol:
- QPO representatives will guide patrons to their designated seats.
- We kindly request that all mobile devices be silenced.
- Flash photography and video recording are strictly prohibited.
- Late arrivals will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance.
- Re-entry during the concert is limited to seats near the exit.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the concert hall (water excepted).
Patron Conduct:
- The Philharmonic reserves the right to remove any individual disrupting the performance or other patrons.
- We are not liable for personal property or injuries.
