Join the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra for a rousing
evening of Romantic and Classical masterworks under the baton of conductor
Andreas S. Weiser, featuring acclaimed cellist Camille Thomas. The concert opens with Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte overture, a light, elegant and playful orchestral piece. Camille Thomas then takes
the stage for Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor, a deeply expressive and
hauntingly beautiful work that has become a pillar of the cello repertoire.
Following the intermission, the orchestra performs one of the most rhythmically
exhilarating works in the symphonic canon: Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
Brimming with infectious vitality and emotional depth, it’s a triumphant close
to an unforgettable evening.
