Waiting for Godot a masterpiece by Samual Beckett
Waiting for Godot is a play about nothing. It is also one of the most famous plays of the 20th century. Witty and absurd, audiences across the world have been often left wondering if it’s a tragedy or a comedy. The play centres around the two eccentrically-named main characters, Vladimir and Estragon. Both of them have a keen desire to meet ‘Godot’, a mysterious man that has instructed them to wait for him. The most recurrent question they face? How on earth they are going to pass the time whilst they wait! Through their quest we meet such characters as Pozzo, Lucky, and ‘The Boy’, the latter claiming he is a messenger of Godot. This innovative, bizarre, and very funny play is Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece – one of the most revered playwrights of all time. For 120 minutes, this is an unforgettable theatrical experience like no other.
Waiting for Godot is recommended for ages 12+.
We have evening performances on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2025.
