Marcus Bosch leads the orchestra in one of the great symphonic monuments of the late Romantic era: Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8 in C minor (1890 version).
Vast in scale yet built with architectural clarity, the Eighth unfolds in long, powerful arcs with solemn brass chorales, towering climaxes, and moments of unexpected tenderness. From the restless drive of the opening movement to the deep stillness of the Adagio, Bruckner balances spiritual intensity with awe-inspiring sound, culminating in a finale that gathers the symphony’s themes into a triumphant conclusion.
