RAAG-ANURAAG

After nearly two years, Beats and Tunes is back in action, now under its new name, "Beats Tunes and Beyond.", and will host RAAG-ANURAAG, a Hindustani vocal concert, on 11 April 2026 at Al Thuraya Hall in the Pullman Hotel, West Bay, Doha from 6pm to 8.30pm. 

Kaushiki Chakraborty , one of the topmost Hindustani vocalists, a defining force in Indian classical music today, is going to perform in Qatar after a gap of 14 years.  

Deeply rooted in tradition, yet contemporary in her artistic presentation, she has earned global acclaim for her performances marked by technical brilliance, emotive depth, and aesthetic sensitivity.  Her voice, known for its incredible range, agility, and emotive power, carries forward a rich legacy while constantly exploring new frontiers.

Over the years, Kaushiki has been the recipient of several prestigious honors, including BBC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, GIMA Award (Global Indian Music Awards), “Nari Shakti Puraskar”, of Govt of India , Sangeet Natak Academy Award etc.

Kaushiki will be accompanied by Ojas Adhiya on Tabla, Jyotirmoy Banerjee on Harmonium, and Murad Ali on Sarangi.
